I’ve got a client who is in the middle of surfing a great wave. She’s worked her ass off to be at the top of her profession, to have the home life she wants, and to enjoy work and play. We’re tweaking some minor things in her routine and core, and mostly our practices end with a reminder to surf the wave while she’s on it. Don’t worry about when it will end or how she’ll find another one. Be present, surf the hell out of it. When it ends we’ll start anew. Surf’s up.
