Just recently concluded my sixth read of C.S. Lewis’s masterpiece Mere Christianity. What an amazing gift this book. According to Clive and others, to get the gist of a “good book” you’ve got to read it at least six times. This is the first book I’ve reached six. Was worth it. More to come, Lord willing.
Here’s the last two sentences in the book with a question from me.
“Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in.” What, friend, are you looking for?
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
