Built to serve…

The best leaders are built to serve. This requires nerve. Normal leaders are built for power, prestige, and prominence. This requires an attachement to being liked, popular, and giving people (the perception) of being served. Normal leaders, yes, are master manipulators.

The best leaders offer truth, seek truth, and accept the consequences that come with being a mirror, shining a light onto those who prefer darknesss, and being crucified for caring too much. Normal leaders watch their words, read which way the wind blows, and master the art of speaking a lot without saying much of substance. Normal leaders are everywhere.

The best model the way, embrace pain and suffering, and embody truth in Love. These leaders are built to serve. They don’t tell us the way, they show us the way. They don’t demand we suffer for the cause, they ask us to join them in it. Popular opinion means little to these dudes. Truth is always their aim.

What principles reflect your leadership, friend. Slow down. Reflect. Write. Ask a truth teller to shed some light. Remember, there are no enlightened ones, only those seeking light. Damn.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…

What, friend, are you built for?
