Thanks…

Thanksgiving is my personal favorite as far as holidays go. I love Christmas, don’t get me wrong but it gets too crazy, busy and commercial. I’m so looking forward to our family football game. Especially this year because it will be played on our home field since me and the Miss are hosting. I love the meal…who doesn’t…and I love the slowness of the day. All we’ll do here, is eat, watch football, play football, talk football and talk life.

I would like to say thanks to all my family, friends, partners and clients that have helped make this such an awesome year. Work and life are amazing. I have witnessed incredible growth in BUILT TO LEAD as a business and a passion. More amazing has been the front row seat I have to watching the growth of our children this past year. Nothing has inspired me more than the spiritual growth of our daughter. She is our only daughter and can do no wrong in my eyes. There, I admit it.

Special thanks to all the people who have supported and believed in BUILT TO LEAD enough to invite us into your work and life. We are grateful.

Thanks Miss for your continued love and support. Thank you, God for the greatest gift of all. The gift of Your Son and the gift of life. May I take all these gifts less for granted today, than yesterday.

Have a great Thanksgiving with your family and friends and remember to thank all those that have helped you along your way. Denzel Washington just wrote a great book titled, A Hand to Guide Me. Here’s his closing thought. “A parent. A teacher. A coach. A role model. It all starts somewhere. And for me, that somewhere is with God. I’m not here to tell other folks what to believe, but I’ll tell you what I believe, and that is what works for me. It’s why I’m setting these thoughts to paper right now. It’s why I’m here – by the grace of God.”

  1. I’m gonna blame this one on morning delusion; you are NOT going to get out of cooking today, you are peeling the potatoes! All 40 of them! Sorry, Miss
