IT is your CULTURE…

Leaders believe that the most important culture is the one in their “twenty square feet.” However, as leaders, they understand that they are also the “keepers of the culture” for their team. They are not only the example by their personal culture, but also by the personal cultures they REWARD and TOLERATE.

Almost all of my clients understand this. Almost all companies have crafted their MISSION, VISION, and VALUES statements. They have hung the banners. They think this does the trick. This isn’t even the starting line.

CULTURE is built by consistently narrowing the gap between what is written and what is REWARDED.

CULTURE is built by consistently narrowing the gap between what is said and what is DONE.

The dominant culture in most organizations is NOT the one that is written and spoken. The dominant culture is the one that is REWARDED.

What is your corporate culture?

What is the culture in your twenty square feet?

Does your twenty square feet attract or attact?

Does your twenty square feet scream of your power and your position or your passion and your PURPOSE?

Does your culture Emanate or Eliminate Energy?

How do you know?

What are you doing to close the gaps that exist in your culture?

Why? Why? Why?
