Another AWESOME week at BTL. This week began with so much anticipation. When was the last time you anticipated the coming of a week of WORK? This was another one of many for me. What a gift it is to LOVE your WORK. OPUS is the one you want…
This week marked the printing of our new books…the 12 and the 8. These books have been rewritten a number of times over the six years of this practice but never like this. This was a complete “do over.” They look great. My car has smelled like fresh print all week because I’ve been carrying them everywhere I go. What a joy. Next week we party.
Andrew and I went to dinner and a movie on tuesday. We went to the movie “Into The Wild.” I am sure this was Sean Penn’s magnum opus. He directed a beautiful tale and I’m certain he must of loved making it. Seemed right up his alley…
Andrew and I had a great time watching and talking. It’s always special to share moments with your children. It’s ten times as special to share moments with your adult/children.
Krits called from school on wednesday and informed me she wanted to go to the OSU/N.C. game that night. We did. We sat one row from the floor and LOVED it. The Bucks lost but another memory was made. Neither of us really noticed…
Today I met with two new clients that are on FIRE. They are soaking up the BTL message and flying high. I ended the day by getting fired by an old, long standing client. The CEO that fired me simply got tired of trying to do something he did NOT believe in. That will wear you out. IT was a good firing.
I started reading the book, “Kite Runner” yesterday and couldn’t put it down until I polished it off today. As I was driving to my “firing” this afternoon I had just finished it and put in some U2. The song KITE came on.
It was a great week of flying high here. This was a week for Kites, Books, Andrew, Miss, Krits, for saying hello and see you later.
At BTL we don’t believe in saying goodbye. We always believe…we’ll see you later. Speaking of see you later…Miss and I are off to MACA for a glass of wine and tapas. Thanks for listening and have a great weekend wherever you are.
Do you KNOW what you believe?
Are you living consistent with what you mouth?
Are you anticipating your weekend of opus with your loved ones or simply looking at more obligations to get through?
Are you happy with how you invested your time this week?
Why?
Why?
Why?

I loved “Into the Wild”…the whole film made me think of my late friend Aaron…
ME too Brad…had lunch with Keturah and Jordan today and reminded them to go see it. I think they would both love it. Take care…
