Everyone that I know, including myself, has conflict with tons of folks. In fact, most of us have conflict with just about everyone with whom we have contact. Client after client wants less conflict and more peace. They believe that once they’re in power, once they’re in charge, once they’re not under their father’s thumb, once they upgrade their spouse, once they get their problem child out of the house, once their neighbor moves, once their CEO gets fired, that magically “peace” will appear. Funny, huh.
As I study my own conflict and the conflict I’ve seen up close and personally with my family, friends, and clients, here’s the root of most conflict. Do NOT miss this. This is HUGE.
The root of conflict with another is conflict within. The root is always tension within.
We will never achieve peace with another prior to discovering and living this TRUTH...
Within.
Want more peace with your family, friends, and clients?
Get busy identifying your conflict within. Get to its root. See your pride. AND, build your humility. Fall on your knees and get in the habit of yelling less at other people. Get in the habit of crying, instead, for help.
“God help me” would be a great place to start.
Peace with others is rooted within. Funny, huh.

a painful process but also very freeing when truely integrated in your life. another paradox.
good thinking. mm
