Focus on the process…

Here’s my tiny “and” to my last rant.

Once your vision is clear, focus almost exclusively on the process.  Masters understand that they must focus on their process to improve individual and collective performance.  They just do.

For example, I spend very little time at BTL, reminding the band about where we’re going.  My attention, and hopefully theirs as well, is focused on improving and refining our process.  The 12 8 4 powered by 2…

These are the BTL playbooks.  They represent our process.  This is where we focus our time and energy together.  Our process and our people (2), are where we give our attention.  We focus on the process.

The way we keep score, how fast we’re going, and even where we’re headed, not so much.

Do you see “why” it’s so important to have clarity of vision first, if you intend to master your craft?
