Miss, Krits, Tay, and I just took in Toy Story 3, it was another great version of the hero’s journey. As I watched the closing scene my mind flashed back to my final moments with my father. He was in a coma and had hung on, I believe, to have me beside him. Once I arrived home, late that night, we shared a few hours together and then he was gone. In the end, we all just want a hand to hold onto.
As you start this week, remember this fact. In the end, you’ll just want a hand to hold onto. Do not get caught up in chasing something, some position, some place of glory, some market, or any such success without someone. This makes such common sense, doesn’t it? This seems to be stating the obvious. However, study history and you’ll see that so many of us choose something over someone. So many of us think they’ll be time later for the soft stuff.
The time is now.
Remember, we are predictably irrational. We all need reminding. Me too. Make some memories with your Miss, your J, your little A, your Krits, and your final four (Tay). In the end, maybe theirs will be the hand that holds onto you.
Toy Story 3 is a good one to see together…

All I can say about TS3 is….*SNIFF*!! I saw it with two of mine, and we all stayed and watched the credits so we could dry our eyes. As you would say, “Funny, huh?” That a G-Rated animation often does a better job telling the heroes’ story than anything else.
Danny and I just got home from seeing another good yarn–The Karate Kid. “Kung Foo” means BUILT TO LEAD in Mandarin. “It just does.”
