A hand to hold onto…

Chronic pain does not go away on it’s own. Problems are NOT self healing systems. Time doesn’t really heal. And, you and I are not meant to “deal with it” by our lonesome. Remember, there is one “L” of a difference between becoming allONE and being alONE. The one L of a difference is LOVE. Thanks, Gufrickinrue…

Today, in practice 32, LKZ came clean and Cam offered a hand. Fear took another direct hit as this team took flight. Today was real. Today was really raw. Today the team of nine, getting ready to become a team of ten, took a step forward because one was willing to go back a bit and share. One crazy gave one hurting a hand. John Mellencamp was right; all humans need a hand to hold onto.

Today, in practice 32 a company went places few couples traverse together. Today, allONE took root the only way real roots ever do. Real roots take root when they’re planted in really rich, fertile, soil AND when those roots are given a hand, if you will. A hand that waters, prunes, lights, and keeps the weeds out. A hand willing to get messy, a bit dirty, and tired in the service of another. Today, this kinda rooting took place in the team of nine. The coolest part was you couldn’t tell which hand was helping and which was healing. Funny, huh…

God, help me realize you didn’t design me to go it alONE. God, help me simply offer and receive a hand. God, help me become a hand to hold onto. God, umm, I could probably use a little help, you know what I’m saying. I’m kinda struggling you know and, well could you, I mean would you give me a hand here? God, help me…
