Today, during practice 92, we went back to practice 91 on purpose. We went back to the quote at the beginning of the 12 playbook. We went on a field trip of sorts too. We planked as we read about building mastery in work and life. We were reminded of our aim to become good cops and police ourselves instead of being lazy and slowly becoming a pig. And, we watched Ryan plank for awhile until he couldn’t take it anymore. In time, he broke.
We watched Tay go into a downer and not drop even as he shook like a leaf. We saw whatever we wanted to see. I reminded the team of fauxteen plus faux what I wanted them to see. I told them to not miss what Tay showed them. You see, Tay showed them the power of starting young. The world tells you to delay the build within. The world tells you to delegate the build within to your boss, your brother, or your buddies. The world tells you to delete the entire building all together. The world does not have your best interest in mind.
Build now. Remember, as JZ illuminated, we are all kinda like concrete. The time to mold a great life is before we’ve cured. Cured concrete is kinda hard to change. Build now and build within. You are a good cop, aren’t you.
