Kind instead of nice…

Today, in practice 162, I was surprised. Greg took my challenge last week to do a little work on his own instead of asking me to spoon feed him. He went to a few sources and tried to discover why I prefer the word kind over the word nice. Here’s what he came back with today in practice.

Nice is love in appearance.

Kind is love in action.

We don’t you to practice playing nice. We do need you to build the courage to care enough to demonstrate kindness alongside your hard earned strength. We need a few more leaders who are kind enough to tell hard truths and hear even harder ones. We need a few more leaders who embody love in action. Good work, Greg. It was kind of you to do your own research. More, please…
