Even if we aren’t sure whether we’ll make it to age 90, we can benefit from the wisdom of those who do:
First, they wish they had taken more risks.
Second, they wish they had spent more time with those they love.
Third, they wish they had reflected more.
Like most things, this sounds simple. It is a short list. What is harder is truly understanding the need to make those decisions now. You need to put time, energy and effort into who and what you love the most – today.
And here is the kicker. When you do these things well – take risks, love hard, and think deeply on your life as you go – you will find that your ability to repair will increase but your need to repair will decrease because you will be living an authentic life.
Then, even if we don’t make it to 90, it won’t matter.
TOGETHER WE TRANSFORM
