Why I ride…

This is why I ride. For the beauty and the beast. For my friends and for myself. For fun and for pain. For the camaraderie of suffering and the alone time with my Lord. For the chosen suffering that prepares us for the unchosen. For the joy of learning to do hard things well by doing them not so well and not stopping.

That’s my friend, Peej. He just did 15,000 feet of climbing in one day. The bike he’s riding is an old beauty of mine. Gave it to him years ago. He’s using the gift and using it well.

God is giving you gifts unimaginable to the rest of the animal kingdom. Are you using them? Slow down. Reflect. Write. Your contributions are found at the intersection of passions & purposes. Maybe it’s time for a little “love to’s” rinse.

Well done, Peej. I hope you’re loving every element of your French connection. Be good. Do good. Be with. We will be with you soon, my friend.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
