Break every chain…

“I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.” Philippians 4:12

I don’t really know what it is to be in need. I do know what it is to be blessed. I am learning that peace is a combination of contentment and challenge. I don’t know hunger. I am well fed and still learning how to not become over fed. I do not know what it’s like to live in constant constraint. I do know it’s not as easy as it looks to live with a lot. I see “a lot” wrecking a lot.

What, friend, do you know? Who is teaching you the most valuable of lessons? Remember, the dude who wrote Philippians was mostly writing his freakin’ magic while chained to a Roman guard. You most likely need to break a few chains yourself. Slow down. Reflect. Write. You can do more than you think. What’s holding you back? What do you believe?

Live hard. Love harder. Much harder…

    “There’s never an excuse to not keep rising. It doesn’t matter if you don’t like your current job or if other people don’t treat you right. God is saying, “It’s time to get out of the pit. It’s time to rise to the top.”

    Keep chopping, keep rowing, keep working…keep loving.
