Linger…

Today, during practice 342 with a team of 32 krazies, we practiced 7 good minutes. Again.

7 good minutes is a lot like the game of golf – it cannot be mastered, only played. The world we live in has forgotten how to linger. Most kairos moments are not planned, friend. Trust is mostly built when we linger longer with another. We stay after everybody’s left the party and linger with the hostess, shooting the shit you know. The art of being with is not possible without the non anxious presence of the leader/participant.

Do not settle for good enough. I mean c’mon man, who wants to create communities that are just ok? Who wants a transactional marriage or partnership? Who wants to just do life with another? We want, if we ever let ourselves go there, to transform together. We want oneness within. We want oneness with another. We want understanding and mutual respect. We want it in a hot, freakin’ minute too. Takes time. Trust is a slow roll.

Linger. Listen. Love. Try those on by starting with the first, friend. Nobody has the time. Make time for what matters more than money. Make time for building meaningful relationships. Linger a bit longer. Damn.

Live hard. Love harder. Linger…
