My OSU day was abbreviated today. Only had three practices instead of the normal 7-8. Was my best day on campus to date. All three practices felt like the best ever with each respective team. Why? Mostly because of preparation.
Not mine. Theirs.
They were all prepared to get after it, and so we did. I learned once again to be patient. BBTL takes time, oftentimes a long, long time. Oftentimes those who experience breakthroughs are those who broke down, first.
Damn Hard.
The honesty in each room was epic. Remember this, leader. Your team needs more truth from you. They want it even when it hurts. They want it even when they reject it and you too. They want it even when you don’t think they can take it. Humans want truth. At least those humans who have decided to chase excellence and BBTL. Focus more time and juice on those few. Believe in them. Believe them. Give them truth in Love. Truth takes few words. Less is more. Today was a lot more. Thanks, teams, for the gift of your belief. Good.
Live hard. Love harder…
