All humans have a justice thread (a sense of right/wrong) and are naturally “over-tuned” to our own. When wronged by even the slightest cut, most of us feel cut to the bone. When we wrong another, most of us cannot understand why they are making a mountain out of a molehill.
Revenge is our natural response.
We are wired to get even. This explains the root of gridlocked conflict. Where, friend, are you over-tuned? With whom will you stop giving what is deserved and instead offer grace? Slow down. Reflect. Write. Extend your hand, not your fist. Damn.
