Peace is found, oftentimes, on the other side of acute pain. Peace does not come with control but with the relinquishing of it. Peace comes when we stop trying to control the world around us and build a better habit of controlling the world within us. Peace comes when we deeply connect – when we extend a hand – when we hold the hand of one hurting. Peace is not found in position, prominence, or power.
No God. No peace.
Know God. Know peace.
What, friend, do you believe?
Live hard. Love harder. Peace…

AMEN AMEN!!!

Thanks, Jayne, for your kind words.
My spidey-sense suspects there is a bit of Guru wordsmithing in the ‘no – know’ but, regardless, wise words – Doc Scott would be proud!
BTW – have you ever thought of publishing a book, designed with a daily reading of your posts? Might be worth considering…
Thanks, jmo. Saw it on a bumper sticker of all places. Don’t know who to attribute to but do love it. You’re the one that ought to consider writing a book. Jmo musings. Appropriate title. Or, How NOT to set off an Angry Baker. Practical wisdom from a Michigan man. Talk to Peej. Get ‘er done…
Love this post and this thread. Borrowing a phrase I read in a blog by Storm Strout of CrossFit Veneration, peace will “add years to your life and life to your years.”
Muy cierto 🙌
True 🙏
Great to hear from you Clotilde. Hope you and your entire family are well.
