Band practice was tight today. Started with three. Ended with four. We experienced the sense of oneness few ever do. Was freakin’ magic. JimmyTHEgant told stories of becoming a Green Beret and BBTL. Doscher got curious and carried the practice. Durp tuned in and waited patiently. When practice was nearing its end, I esteemed the work Durp is doing to bring BTL into the electronic era. His tools (coming soon to a few) are a great compliment to the BTL Builder. Together, better than a lone. All ONE continues to be the aim. One L of a difference.
So, friend, let this serve as a reminder. Your performance is never in isolation. You are NOT designed to go it alone. You can reach your God given potential, but only if you humbly allow others to help. The enemy to oneness is a-loneness (not a word, but go with me). Ego is the enemy, right? Damn.
Who on your team has ideas that complement yours? Who challenges you to think differently? Who has irritating (and transformational) ideas you continue to turn away from? Turn toward, friend. Open arms. Open minds. Open systems. Open systems don’t entropy. Closed ones do. You?
Live hard. Love harder…
