Kadosh…

Kadosh is the Hebrew word for holiness. It literally means “set apart.”

Last night was sacred. We took time away from our normal routines to celebrate Jordan and Taylor. They are having a baby in November. Last night we celebrated this sacred moment in the form of a “Baby Shower.” We showered the soon to be parents with gifts of love and care. We took time out to be with. It was a beautiful moment. Brought our family together. Freakin’ magic in the making. You, friend, are not your work. Your family wants to sense they are “set apart” to you. Family rituals matter. It’s hard when the family is spread from Berlin to Kansas City. Hard and doable. What, friend, are you setting apart?

Live hard. Love harder…
