Practice mo…

Today, after our 90 minute practice with a team of producers, I had my one on one with their leader. Upon exiting this second practice of the early morning, I was greeted by two young studs waiting ( I assumed) for some time with their leader. I. Was. Wrong.

They were waiting for me.

As I walked to my next practice they walked with me. Asked me why I was short changing them. You see, we used to practice for two hours and had ratcheted it back to 90 minutes this year. They wanted more. Wanted to practice another thirty. Damn.

Your team deplores meeting, friends. Me too. Take ‘em into team practice. Give them the reins. The high performers will absolutely, freakin’ run with it. Instead of counting down the time, they’ll be asking for mo. Your team doesn’t want to meet and greet. They want to get better. They want to talk about real shit and get after it. Limit their time, leader. When you’re blessed by them wanting more, give it to them. You now know you have a team different than most. Good.

Live hard. Love harder…
