Bias…

We all have a bias toward one thing or another. Humans, by our very nature, are biased toward our own. At our best, we recognize and release; at our weakest, we ignore and hold on for dear life. 

This past year, I made the decision to take on a few new teams. They are all freakin’ magic. None more so than OSU womens LAX. These women have been through a number of coaches and have had few reasons to believe. They are amazing, strong women who are going to kick some serious grass (turf) this year. Can see it in their eyes. One thing I know…

I believe they are better than they could possibly know. 

They have what it takes. They have great coaches. Great captains. Great trainers. Great leaders. They are building great belief. Leaders are believers. There is no substitute. Fact. Their season starts this winter. They are gonna light it up. Come and see. 

You chasing greatness? Get over your bias. Instead of believing what others tell you, see for yourself. Look under the hood. Inspect what you expect. Do not judge a book by its cover. Do not allow others opinions to replace doing your homework. This I believe. I am biased. You?
