Leaders…

Leaders, at least the kind we run through walls for, are believers.

Leaders are humans who don’t run from a fight and, more often than not, fight for what’s right. Leaders belief inspires those around to believe just a bit more. Kinda like Neo in the classic worldview enlightening movie The Matrix, none of us is born a believer. We’re all filled with fear and mostly run when we’re called, instead, to rise to the occasion. What begins as a mustard seed of belief is all it takes to build a rock solid belief system. Trinity and Morpheus transformed Neo. We all need the belief of others to form our own. Fact.

Are you beginning to believe, friend? Are you believable? Are you moving from belief to believer? Are you attracting fellow believers or bullshit artists? Are you inspiring committed teammates or compliant ones? Maybe it’s time for you to go to your room and reflect, write, and rinse your worldview. You know, your basic set of beliefs through which you make sense of the world. Peace, I believe is found when your belief system and habitual behaviors are becoming more aligned. You know this is hard to argue. You might even believe it. Do your actions indicate someone becoming a believer? You should know this. Do you? God, help me in my disbelief. God, help me become more believable. God, help me close my integrity gaps instead of focusing on others. God, help me.

Live hard. Love harder. Much harder. Believe me…
