Golfers…

No idea. 

I had no idea how good the OSU golf facility is. Yesterday, headed over there for practice with their HC, Mo, I got much more than I bargained for. Got a free putting lesson from Par and Mo. Toured the world class facility, met Mo’s parents, and was in awe of the greatness around every corner as you can see from the pics shared above and below. 

Mo is turning out more than just professional golfers. He, Jimmy, and Par are turning out golfers who are better men because of being beside coaches who care. The transfer portal and NIL (name, image, likeness) is madness. The OSU coaches and NCAA DI Coaches in general have got to naviagate the equivalent of a downhill, down grain, left to right big breaker just to save par. Tricky to say the least. 

Yesterday was a gift seeing this great facility and getting a little professional grade coaching. Thanks, Mo and Par, for all you’re doing for these very fortunate college athletes on your watch. They are in better hands than they’ll likely ever know. Your reward, like so many of the good ones, will come much later. The sweetest moments are almost always savored far distant from when they we’re actually realized. Fact. You, and all your coach peers, are doing God’s work. Keep working. It’s appreciated, at least by those of us old enough to understand. God bless you and your golfers.

BTW, my putting stroke improved yesterday. I’m holding my finish toward my target now. Can’t wait for Spring. Golfers. Damn.
