Find it. Keep it…

Recently an acquaintance of mine gave me some unsolicited feedback. He told me my content on LinkedIn was weak. I smiled and changed the topic. Moved on. Did not fake interest. Did not ask him to tell me more. Why?

I’ve lost the desire to win this argument. Found my writing voice many moons ago. He’s not one of the few who I listen to. Fact. My writing is for me. I publish it (small percentage of it, actually) in the hopes it might help a few find more clarity for themselves. I know it’s brought epic clarity to me.

There is power in your pen, friends. Don’t write for others. Write for yourself. Write to gain clarity within and with your aim. Write. Find your voice. My guess is you’ll quickly lose the desire to be for everyone. Your few will be more than enough. Listen to your truth tellers who want the best for you. Do not let social media morons or loose acquaintances turn you into doubting Thomas, you know. Find your voice. Keep it. Refine it. Care, but not that much. Damn.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…

  1. Love your writing Chet. It’s like a stream of consciousness peak inside the work you’re doing on yourself and others. Wouldn’t change a thing – I know you won’t 😃 💪🏼
