Yesterday, I went a little OSU sports crazy. Walked some holes with the men as they won The Kepler going away. Watched the women LAX team give Northwestern all they could handle on senior day. Lost my mind watching Mens LAX take down TTUN for their first BIG title ever. Epic. Came back from an 8-5 deficit midway through the 4th quarter to pull it out 10-8. Was insane. So happy for Nick and his well deserving dudes. Lastly, caught the end of men’s Volleyball winning their first round tournament game. Helluva sports day. Love these coaches and their teams. Love them. Love this family and all these grand babies. Love them. So, friend, today remember you are all about love.
God so loved the world that He sent his only son, as we celebrate today.
You and I sense this when we reflect on the emotions this world surely brings. We are here but for a brief minute, yet we are meant for eternity. We celebrate milestones, wins, and know it’s not for long. We find meaning and lasting purpose when we know whose we are.
So, I hope and pray you have a blessed Easter. I hope you thank God for the good and ask for his help in the hard. Thanks, many of you, for the privilege of building beside you. See you soon at a hard practice that’s bound to make us both better. There’s bound to be bitter, you know. Wash it down with more love. Savor the wins. Lick the wounds when beaten down. Mens LAX suffered through two down years. Makes a BIG championship even sweeter. Your family and friends will bring you great joy and also break your heart. You are designed for this and built by this. Continue to look up, get up, and never give up.
Thank you, Jesus. Happy Easter, friends. No greater love.
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…
