The top pic is me at 23, the middle one at 42, and the bottom one at 66. Seems like a blink from one to the next. It’s not.
Truth is it’s been 19 years between the first two and 24 years between the second two. That’s me over the course of 43 years. My body is aging. This you can see.
My mindset has transformed. Pictures cannot show this. Yet, I know it.
I “feel” better now. I think better too. Friendships and family are better. Opus? Much better. Magnum opus? Still a work in process. Would not want to go back. Still dreaming BIG about what’s ahead. Time is undefeated. This I believe. Life is an energy management problem. Better or bitter. Today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present. Make the most of it.
Oh yeah, this one is me yesterday. Cut 73 and 74. Undefeated. Grateful. Damn.
