This, friend, is not true. The real breakfast of champions is feedback. The best kind is not from a person. It is from the work itself. You a golfer? The best feedback is from the club. When you hit it pure, the club sends a message. Pure. Do this again.
The second best feedback is from a trusted truth teller. Every week I give a client feedback he does NOT want to hear – he needs to!
Recently listened to a client tell me about his struggle. Asked hard questions. Thought deeply. Asked more questions. Eventually gave him feedback. Wasn’t fun to give. Wasn’t easy to hear. He took it in. Agreed the way forward.
