Rarely share this but below are my notes from team practice with nine golfers and three of their leaders. This team is growing like a weed. They’re only on practice 47 and the work they’re doing on themselves and each other is beyond belief. Actually, as always, it’s because of it. These might not make perfect sense to you, reader. See what you can extrapolate, anyway…
Hey,
We started with Quattro who shifted the tension to Sabes and he sent it back. So Quattro told us a story about Erin Hills. Told us how his girl put her shoes on and walked the course playing her round in her mind. He did the same based on her urging. Visualization. One of the best things you can do. SEAL adversity tactics 101. She did this for six weeks straight. Won five times in the next six months.
I sent you this back in the summer and you’ve not done shit with it. This is the proverbial shitting the bed moment. STOP this. Use the tools. They are world class but do nothing for you if you don’t use them.
Consistently.
Do not rely on a virtuous girlfriend, dad, mom, coach, or even Birdie. Build a strong CORE, author and authentic OPUS, and PoP it out with passion and purpose. This is the melody line of BTL. Memorize it and look at it consistently. Rinse it for clarity as you grow. And, you will grow if you do this, so keep evolving your writing as you evolve inside.
Told you truth about why I’m harder on you than any other team. Why? Because you’re golfers, Jay shared. He’s right. Your game is 99% up here. Build a strong CORE. It informs a strong mind. Freakin’ magic. The key for Jack and all of you, Modon’tyouknow shared is consistency. Damn. Truth.
A calm sea never produced a great sailor. Storms are consistently coming. Thanks, again, Mo. Put in the work prior to the next one. Never stop. Aristotle – You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence therefore is a habit. Damn.
PA:
Use the tools. Memorize The SEAL adversity tactics. Master them. Read BBTL. Keep writing truth. Talk it out with each other. Together we transform. Always together. Consistently. Day in day out.
