Emotions…

Aristotle did not say you become what you repeatedly feel. Nope, that wasn’t it. He said, rightly so, “You are what you repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, it’s a habit.”

Too many of us allow our emotions to master our mind when they’re designed to serve. Do not run on your feelings. Command the mind to do what you’ve decided in your CORE, you want to do. For me, the daily reminder (sometimes more) is to habituate my bolted on principles.

Model the way.

Embrace pain and suffering.

Embody truth in Love.

These are the habitual principles I want to guide my life. I execute them imperfectly for sure. I don’t, oftentimes feel like living them. Instead of making excuses, I ask God for help, surrender to my weakness, and bathe in His strength. Then, I get on with it. Good feelings may follow. They may not. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. A strong CORE informs the mind. Eventually, the mind is transformed.

Romans 12:2 “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” You’ve been reminded.

Live hard. Love harder…

  1. What a TIME.

FEELings so strong that it was almost too hard to bear.

Emotions turned on “full blast”…trying to give and receive all the love possible.

“There it is again…”The Ministry of BEING WITH”.

    Thank you, Larry.

    Together, always – – – ALWAYS TOGETHER

    Truly. Truly. Truly.
