Today, The 3PP had zero movement. For 45 minutes we practiced static holds. Push ups halfway down. Hold. Vsits. Planks. Lhangs. Rollouts. Leg pins to elbows. Wall sits. All static holds. Engage the core. Hold the position.
Amazing how hard it is to simply stand still, my friend. Throughout life we know movement is key to longevity. However, most MOT (moments of truth) require no movement, simply standing still in the storm. Holding position under pressure. Not caving to positional power. Standing true to your CORE principles. Not moving when everyone around is running for cover.
Today’s core work was really CORE work too. Where friend do you need to stand still? Slow down. Reflect. Sit with this one for awhile. Good.
Live hard. Love harder…
