Last night, David and Lu got married. Was a beautiful ceremony with friends and family. So happy for them. Most of the night was spoken in Spanish. I don’t speak it. Neither does Miss. We both felt it. Special night with special people. David’s mom, Clotilde, has been being built into by JimmyTHEgant for over a year now. Her husband, Eduardo for just the past few months. Both could not wait to tell me how grateful they are for the gift. Of course, I reminded them how grateful we are to have them part of the BTL family. David is an amazing artist with a fantastic studio in Miami. Lu leads a great family business. They complement, not compete, with each other.
Jordan, Taylor, and Daisy celebrated with us. So. Much. Fun. Was. Had. By. ALL.
Oh yeah, the name of David’s studio? Joy. So fitting. Last night was joyful. Joy filled. Today? More of the same. Together we transform. Always together. The only painful part of last night? Wearing those damn, old, CompuServe shoes. Forgot how much more comfortable my life is now in athletic wear and especially athletic shoes. Damn.
