Today, I was dragging ASS. Allergies got the best of me. Legs gave out. Could not breathe. Hadn’t been on the bike outdoors since early May. It showed. I. Was. Slow. Told Peej, Brother Mick, and Littlest to leave me. Told them I knew the way home. Told them to have fun and not let my dragging ASS ruin their ride.
They would not leave me behind.
We finished together. These rides happen to me. Frequency is increasing. I’ve made my peace with my place. I belong in the back. An occasional pull on my good days. Sucking wheels and holding on for dear life on the bad ones. These dudes are stronger than me. Fact. It’s alright. We’re friends. We stick together. Last week Brother Mick was dropped. It was LA’s last ride. They all waited for him. LA would be smiling. Today, they waited on me. Our younger versions would not have been so kind. We left many a brother out on the road to fend for themselves. Not anymore. I guess that’s one of the good things about growing older. Damn.
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…

Peej bringing the boys to 3PP today too. Jmo bringing the hammer as always.
