The right art is purposeless, aimless – until it’s not. The key to finding purpose is patience. I remember 1993 stumbling into CCL (Center for Creative Leadership) and not wanting to be there. CompuServe CEO, Maury Cox, had sent me against my will. I wanted him to send Judy, head of HR. I was too busy.
This is why he sent me.
Was a week of inner exploration. Walked out after a weeks time and knew my aim. BTL was born 9 years before the universe first saw her. She took a long time due to my fear of not being ready. God gives us 9 months to build a baby. He could do it overnight if He wanted. He’s patient. He’s teaching us patience.
The right art is for each of us to discover. We are all creative genius’s. Most never find their canvas. Take the pursuit seriously; yourself, not so much. Play with your art. When you trip onto it, nobody will have to tell you. Damn.
