“And the day came when the RISK to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”
Anais Nin said that many years ago. It’s as true as ever today. As you look at the risks in front of you today just remember that you are made to blossom. You are made to be seen. You and your team are at greater risk if you pull back and tightly wrap yourself up in the bud.
Discover your strengths, clarify what gives you energy, become aware of how you feel when you are working in your OPUS. AND, slowly tilt the table in your favor. Slowly begin to invest more of your days doing what you love to do. You will become BUILT TO LEAD. Regardless of where you work and live, you will become more productive too.
Blossom.
Remember, it’s riskier to hunker down and remain in the bud.

I love this post. It couldn’t be more on target both with content and timing. Today in our practice I felt a since of validation for my team and feels really good for them to be noticed for their efforts (to be seen). I FELT THE TABLE TILT. The clarity of our teams strength is beginning to be crystal clear. We are achievers and we want to achieve. We can’t do it standing in a shadow or staying in our bud. We can’t sit back and wait for others around us to move. We must move or be moved. WE’RE GOING TO MOVE!
Keep MOVING Jason. Let me know how I can help in NC

You remember those Buckeye Leafs? Here’s the criteria for getting one http://buckeyefansonly.com/buckeyeleafcriteria.html
They have thought through their metrics very carefully to reward taking risks, blooming and winning. Winning doesn’t happen any other way.
It’s not only fun to watch younger players and leaders like Jason setting the example — it’s inspiring!. Keep it up. .
