Life, remember, is one big energy management problem. Lies take more energy than truth. Spinning shit, in fact, wears you out. Listening to it does too.
Truth in anger takes more energy than truth in LOVE but only when you are “in” LOVE. When I find myself depleted it’s most often caused by my inability to feel enough input of love. Usually this comes from me looking for love in all the wrong places. Funny, huh.
Jesus reminds us that “ONE day you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” God, help me understand that your “in”put of LOVE is the one I want. God, help me look to you.
