Know thyself…

The biggest problem in the world of problem solving is around identifying the problem to solve. Way back in the day your survival depended more on other and outer awareness; inner, not so much. Your survival depended on focusing “out there.” The untrained brain gets depressed when it focuses on itself. So, by default, your brain focuses on somebody else’s shit. Hence the popularity of tabloids, social media bullshit, and our focus on NOT being as bad as so and so.

Remember, you are wired to see somebody else’s stuff with 20/20 clarity; your own, not so much. STOP this natural habit. Build your second nature. As Socrates once said, “Know thyself.” Few do. Own your own. Own your junk. Clean your mess. STOP staring, and stepping in anothers. Over time and through the successfully solving of your own problems, you will gain energy. Your long term mental health depends on you owning your own and cleaning up your mess – not mine. Getting lost trying to stop me from swearing isn’t your problem to solve, is it. Many, however, are losing my point because of my language. Funny, huh…

Mental health 101, remember, is all about focusing your brain. Masters focus on becoming CORE centered and self controlling; knowing themselves, if you will. Normal humans focus, naturally, on being self centered and other controlling. How about you? Where is your focus? You choose. Your choices have consequences. Know thyself.

Now that’s some good shit…
