Remember, your voice comes with a built in expiration date. In other words, your team will only listen to you for so long. After awhile most of your teammates will tune you out regardless the quality of your content. This is a painful truth to experience when you have acquired domain specific knowledge and your team is too sick and too tired of your voice to let it in. Lead anyone or anything and your voice will expire before you do. Lead, anyway.
The good news is you and I can simply choose to listen. You and I can choose to be “all ears.”
