Due or do…

We are becoming a nation of victims. We were once known as a nation of doers. We are now a nation who knows what is due them. You, if you’re a fellow American, are not neutral. You are accretive to a culture of responsibility or victimhood. Either your focus is on what is due you or your focus is on what you do.

The problem is your brain has a hard time dealing with something so black and white. We’ve been taught that everything is gray, nothing right and nothing wrong. Everyday I practice with teams who understand all to well what is due them. Our practices remind them that if their aim is to become elite, entrepreneurial, and self authorizing they must change their brain. Elite do not focus on what is due them. Elite simply do. Study history you’ll see. Entrepreneurs and elite are self authorizing. Are you?

Yoda was right. “Do or Do Not. There is no try.”  Due or do. You choose. Your choices have consequences. Kinda black and white, huh…
