Fear, anxiety, and love…

Fear is better than anxiety. Here’s why. Fear has a target. I’m afraid of snakes, spiders, and the tee shot on fourteen, for starters. Fear lessens when you name it, face it, and decide to ACT into it.

Anxiety is different.

Anxiety is fear without a target. Anxiety is being overwhelmed and NOT knowing why. It creates a general sense of malaise and zaps energy. We have an epidemic of anxiety in our modern world. Doom scrolling exacerbates it. Aloneness multiplies it. Anxiety thrives in ambiguity. Clarity can kill it. In fact, clarity within wins most wars. Name it. Face it. ACT into it. Clear?

Fear is better than anxiety. What, you ask, beats both?

Love, friends, is better than both. Love, in fact, conquers all. Courage is more love than fear. Anxiety? Too much worry about the future and too little gratitude now. God’s giving you and I a gift this moment; that’s why we call it the present! More love. More gratitude. More calm in the moment. Talk about the anti anxiety pill, huh. As for me, I’m heading out to the 14th hole. Got some work to ACT into. How ’bout you, friend. What are you doing to ACT into what you want? LFG.

Live hard. Love ❤️ harder. Clear…

  1. Love this. SO TRUE.

I have been doing big time battle with clearly identifying and giving a name to my biggest and yes, most harmful SELF-LIMITING-BELIEFS.

I won’t say any names – – – John Rue – – – has been getting in the ring with me on this. It’s bloody. It’s painful – – – and as Rachel says…”You gotta go through it. Can’t go over it, or around it, or under it”.

This arena, this place, this space, the builders here who ALL build into me – – – have made me do what I can and when I can’t do it, well…that’s when the knives come out.

    John 14:1-7

    PS Love the pic…!

PSS Thank you for treating my angel so well. She was there in heart and soul for me as well…! She is returning full of love from her time with the family.
