So, you think you understand your mood? Yes or no? 

Did you know words have moods? I didn’t either until BTL Band practice yesterday. Yes, I was Gu’ed. After much good back and forth, I issued an imperative to Gu. You’ll be hearing from him more frequently is my hope. You see, the BTL band is much more than me. BIGr than me and my apprentices. The Band is twelve strong individuals, none more so than JohnnytheGUrue. So, after listening to his brilliance yesterday I declared Sunday not only a day of rest (but a day for you to get your sorriness Gu’ed). You, reader, are in for a treat (assuming he responds to said imperative). We shall see…

Together we transform. Always together. Thanks, Gu, JimmyTHEgant, Rachel, Michelle, Browny, and Slips for making yesterday’s band practice transformative. I consider it a pure privilege to build beside each of you. We are a ragtag bunch of beauties. Would not have it any other way. We come together because we want to. What an unusual thing for any team. 

I love playing with words. My grammar sucks. Anybody following the blog knows this. Gu never rubs it in my face. He’s a genius English major who has never stopped mastering the mood of his words. He lets me be me. Smiles. Waits patiently. Uses few words. Yet somehow makes sure we’re very Gu’ed whenever we practice. 

So, friend, tune your sorriness in every Sunday. You will be blessed beyond belief. Actually, you’ll be blessed by it. JohnnytheGUrue will sear you. I GUarantee it. Damn.
