Mom celebrated her 101st birthday yesterday. Was one I’ll never forget. She told stories of the 1920’s, 30’s, 40’s, 50’s, and led us in singing songs of thanksgiving all along the way. I could not hold back the tears as she led us in singing songs of “My country tis of thee…” Was epic to hear 90 year olds and a few of us young-ins belting out patriotic songs. Voices were raised. Quality be damned. I sang too. Not well, mind you. But right from my heart. We finished the night with family (plus Bird) at Longhorn Steakhouse. The steak was late. The seating was cramped. The joy?
Invicible.
So, friends, take some deep breathes. Whatever you’re going through, it’s been gone through before. Whatever you’re preparing for, it’s been prepared for before. Whatever you’re worried about, it’s been worked out before. Whatever, you’re uncertain about, similar ambiguity has seen ACTion take countless others to the other side.
Mom’s message yesterday was all about faith and gratitude. Bookend these as she has. Whatever’s in the middle? You’ve got this. God’s got you. We’re all hanging by a thread. Such is life. Look up. Get up. Never, ever, ever, give up. Damn.
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…

Give and take care. Give and take some lil hugs. They really help…
