This week during practice ONE.1 with a new team of leaders, I was hit with feedback I could use. For about thirty minutes I was calling Abbey the wrong name. Her predecessor was Ally. Honest mistake but a mistake none the less. Nobody had given me feedback I could use in the moment. Didn’t want to embarrass me, so they let me go on making the mistake. Finally, someone corrected me. Funny, we were talking about the power of feedback – in the moment.
So, not only did they give me feedback I could use, I used the moment to illustrate the need for them to go and do likewise with their teams. They could have waited to give me feedback after the practice or next week for that matter. It was kind for them to give it to me in the moment. I’ll never call her by the wrong name, again. Unless, for those of you who know me, when I change her name on purpose. Damn.
Live hard. Love ❤️ harder…

So good.
Hello, Abbey!
Damn.
Feedback?
MUST have OR…we will ALL “get off track”.
