Give and take care…

Steven Pressfield, one of my favorite authors, is writing the foreword to my first (most likely last) book titled Becoming BUILT TO LEAD. I’ve never met him. He’s doing this as a favor to a mutual friend, Jim Gant. Steve is a master at his craft and is graciously helping someone who cannot possibly pay him back. He is giving care. I am taking care.

A good day is one where you give and take care, friend.

Give to those for whom you want to give. Give to some who cannot pay you back. Give to those for whom it is easy to give. Give to some who it’s not easy to give. And, take care too. Allow others to give freely to you. Accept gifts with gratitude. Masters in the art of living understand that it is more blessed to give than receive. Masters in the art of living give more than they take. Masters give and take care. Are you?

Good…

  1. Good reminder – believers are RECEIVERS. Give and take is usually transactional – but TAKING care to give and receive is always transformational. Together we transform – always together.
