I could boil the bravery and courage that I wanted to show in combat down into Jerry “Mad Dog” Shriver. He was and is what being a Green Beret is all about. In my mind at least.

I was introduced to Christian de Cherge through the book, “The Monks of Tibhirine” written by John Kiser.
Christian de Cherge? His life was his message.
My life will be my message and your life will be your message.
Your message will not be found in a book, or on a wall, or in a picture frame, or even on a headstone. It will be found in those lives you have touched with love, hope and faith.
Leaders are believers. We know that, for sure.
Believers are leaders. We know that, for sure, as well.
We are all warriors, we are all leaders, we are all believers.
Sit with Christian one evening…read “The Monks of Tibhirine” or watch the movie “Of Gods and Men”.
You will never look at leadership the same.
