“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” Pablo Picasso
Remember this thought, leader, as you master your craft. A master in the making makes the complex easier to understand. If others cannot do more after your instruction, look in the mirror. You most likely made the complex movement too complicated. Your job, leader, is judged not by your knowledge, but by how much the team learns.
Pros make the complex appear simple. Masters appear to be playing especially when performing under pressure. Leaders are masters in creating masterpieces (people). Pros master their craft. Masters create other masters. What about you, leader? Will we remember your paintings or your people? Slow down. Reflect.
Live hard. Love harder…
