Excellence is simple, not easy, when it comes to leading anything. Building something great, if you want to build it sustainably, is fueled by passion and guided by purpose. Your why is not enough on it’s own. The juice fueling your why matters too. Fear, you see, lasts for a season or two, or maybe even twenty two. Eventually, however, fear wears you down. Love lasts a lifetime. Fuel your purpose with love, friends.
Love the work. Love the team. Good. And, if you’re chasing greatness don’t forget the “and.” Love the work. Love the team. And, lean against your tendency.
