BTL is about to celebrate our 25th year. We’re heading to The Breakers in January to celebrate as a band. We’ll invest a few days sharpening the saw and soaking in transformational ideas. Together we transform. Always together.
In January of 2028 we’ll celebrate our first BTL summit with clients. This will become an annual event where Builders, clients, and spouses/partners congregate to learn from one another. This was not my idea. It was the bands and in particular my apprentices, Rachel and Jigs. They know I’m not easy to sway. I do not like events. Don’t yearn for keynotes. More interested in mastery and serving than branding. This event will be epic.
Our daughter, Krit, and her company, Harper and James, will run everything. I’ll share stories. Builders will too. Clients will as well. We’ll learn, laugh, and love ❤️. I’ll be sixty eight years young, the Lord willing. We’ll have five grandbabies in attendance.
We’ll cycle up A1A and see Missi’s grandma’s pink house. We’ll tee it up on the first 18 hole golf course in FLA. We’ll swim in the Atlantic. Enjoy steak skewers and a few adult beverages. We’ll soak in The Breakers best. We’ll celebrate. We’ll read, write, and talk. We’ll connect physically, spiritually, and emotionally. We’ll build oneness. Become more whole. Freakin’ magic in the making.
The audience?
The audience will come to us. Not because of who we are but because of who we’re becoming together. It will be authentic, vulnerable, and freakin’ transformational. The audience will be more than involved. They will be the damn show. There will be no stage. Round tables. A team of peers. What a blessing this audience has been and will continue to be. Can hardly wait. Blessed beyond belief. Actually, blessed by it.
What BIG dreams fuel your fire, leader? Money and measurables cannot compare to meaning. Chase the former and you’ll never quite catch it. Catch the latter and there’s no mo need for speed. You choose. Your choices have consequences. Slow down. Reflect. Choose wisely. Damn.
