Today, Church with Mom. We learned from one verse in Proverbs for 45 minutes. We celebrated our time together. Next Sunday, Lord willing, we’ll be together in Salina, Kansas. We’ll share this service together. Walk together. Talk together. Be together. Have brunch together. Enjoy a drive around town together. Have an ice cream cone together. Drink in our kairos moments together. Our time is finite. We cannot be together, at least on this earth, forever. So, we are wise with where and how we invest our time. I’m being wise and taking my recovery seriously slow. I prefer being a strong Ox and tilling the soil (so to speak). Today, Church with Mom. Slow walk with Miss. Dinner with Lil Jeggie, Madelaine, and Miss. OSU WSOC game against Memphis to put a bow on it. And, Lord willing, we just might welcome Lillian Marie into this beautiful mess. Mommy is in the birthing room as I tickle the ivories. Prayers for Jordan and Taylor’s coming child. God, help me slow down to speed up. God, help me be a strong Ox and accept the mess of this time. God, help me.
